The Finnish FA played host to Ireland, Poland and Croatia for last week's Grassroots Study Visit. The first presentation made by the hosts was entitled "Finland – Youth Development" and was made by Marko Viitanen, FFA Youth Manager.

The UEFA Study Group Scheme sees member associations visit one another to share knowledge, experience and best practice in coach education, youth, women's and grassroots football. Last week an FAI delegation, along with Poland and Croatia visited Finland under the Grassroots Football banner. FAI Delegation visits Finland as part of UEFA Study Group Scheme

This week an FAI delegation comprising of staff and volunteers visited Finland as part of the UEFA Study Group Initiative. The topic of this visit was Grassroots Football and the countries taking part were Finland (hosts), Ireland, Poland and Croatia. FAI Regional Manager Tom O'Shea was part of the delegation and over the next couple of weeks Tom will post a series of informative Articles detailing the visit.
